Welcome to Dana Glass Technic. We are an association consisting of a group of experienced engineers and specialists in all the various aspects of the design, construction, installation, erection and commissioning of complete glass plants for the manufacture of hollow ware as well as sheet glass, from batch plant to cold end.

We have a very long-standing reputation and successes throughout Iran, as consultants for the modernization and trouble-free running of almost all the existing major glass factories in the country.

We have been operating as a general contractor for several well known glass plants as well as raw material processing projects in Iran and are fully backed and supported by major european suppliers of modern glass technology equipments.

We employ experienced specialists and engineers, a majority of whom are graduates from USA, Europe and India, and have received extended training organized by Owens-Illinois, Emhart, Glaverbel and others, in USA, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and other european countries.

Our engineers are well versed in languages such as English, German and French by education, and can speak Russian, Armenian, Turkish and Indian for their job purposes.



With the above background and with the help and support of major European suppliers of modern glass technology, the Dana Glass Technic engineers have been highly active since 1969 and can boast of having undertaken turnkey jobs and major expansions or modernization of the following plants and projects:

1. ABGUINEH
Manufactures sheet glass in collaboration with Glaverbel of Belgium. Capacity 120'000 TPY.

2. Shishe Va Gas
About the largest container glass production plant of the middle east. Capacity 120'000 TPY

3. Hamadan Glass
Manufactures container glass. Capacity 65'000 TPY. Turnkey project with the collaboration of Teichman USA.

4. Razi Pharmaceutical Glass
Capacity 10'000 TPY.

5. Mofid Glass (Maktab Amir Al Momeinin)
With two melting furnaces of 90 and 200 TPD. Furnace 1 under collaboration with Zippe, Horn, Sorg, Emhart, Cnud and Zeccetti. Furnace 2 with Zippe, Sorg, Emhart, Antonini, MSC and MSK. A highly modernized and well designed plant matching any similar plant in its range around the world.

6. Takestan Packaging Glass
Manufactures all type of glass containers (food/pharmaceutical). Capacity 120 TPD. In collaboration with Zippe, Sorg, Emhart, Pennekamp and Zeccetti.

7. Nafis Glass
One of the most modern glass factories in the world. A two phase project with two 360 TPD furnaces, making all kinds of container glass. (Furnace 2 in planning phase).

8. Isfahan Glass
Manufactures all kinds of glass tableware. Has two 60 TPD furnaces. In collaboration with Zippe, Sorg, Emhart (Forehart Feeders), Olivotto and Pennekamp.

9. Mahtab Khorasan
Manufactures tube light and lighting lamps. Capacity 25 TPD. In collaboration with Zippe, Sorg and Olivotto.



Working Procedure

The working procedure of DANA Group, under the management of Dipl. Eng. Herachik Bakhshian, involves, to start with, three forms of undertakings with our clients or those institutions who wish to set up glass plants, as follows:

1. The First Agreement, as consultants, will include the details about economical rationalization, justification and feasibility of the planned project. This will include full details about the needed technical details and layout diagrams which have to be produced for obtaining a basic project license which is needed for initial site and construction planning.

2. The Second Agreement, as consultants, will involve:
- Steps to approach world famous suppliers with a view to invite tenders for the needed facilities.
- The received offers will be divided into the proprietary items that will have to be imported and the maximum share of the needed items, which can be economically produced locally. This aspect conforms to the requirements of the Iranian government rules and demands.
- After due considerations, business trips will be undertaken, together with selected personnel of the client, to the supplier’s country with the purpose of final negotiations and order placements.

3. The Third Agreement, as the project director, will include:
- Justification and clarification of the final choice of equipments and machinery to the Iranian Ministry of Industry Commerce and Mining for the grant of licenses as well as negotiating for credit loans that may have to be acquired from Iranian and international banks.
- In the meantime work will get started over all the needed building construction and technical drawings for the best layout of the projected glass plant, including the raw material batching plant, the melting furnace and production lines along with the cold end.
- The usual duration of this agreement will be for a period of 3 years.

The end result will be a satisfactory handing over of an efficient production outcome, under the hands of expertly trained machine operators and management personnel for which foreign expertise will be used at site.

All our engineers are highly experienced with a minimum of fifteen years of working experience as my own colleagues, while involved in full scale projects of several well-known hollow ware glass manufacturing plants around Iran. Most of them have spent long training durations with world-famous glass machinery suppliers and glass plants around Europe, Japan (Toyo Glass) and USA (OI).
